Louisiana Association of Educators endorsed Herman Ray Hill, teacher, coach, cattleman and public servant for State House District 32.
I am the only candidate in this race with the experience to go to Baton Rouge and fight for our fair share.
“Serving the people of Allen and Beauregard Parishes and Dequincy is one of the great passions of my life,” Hill said. “In the classroom, on the basketball court, in business or public office, I have always strived to represent the values of faith, family and integrity and that’s what I will do in the state legislature.”
As a state legislator, Hill secured more than $100 million for District 32 during his career.
“I am the only candidate in this race with the experience to go to Baton Rouge and fight for our fair share. Funding from the state is critical for improvements for our local cities, towns, water districts, fire districts, recreation districts and schools. It is the capital outlay process that allows us to improve our infrastructure and in turn strengthen our economy at the local level.”
Hill added, “Experience matters when the legislature is at work. If you don’t have the experience, your district will get left out.”
